Nice Easy Quick Italian Bread for any occasion Ingredients:
1 package yeast |
1/3 cup warm water |
1 1/4 cup water |
4 cups flour |
2 teaspoon salt |
1 tablespoon sugar |
Directions:
1. mix yeast and warm water dissolve about 5 minutes 2. mix flour, salt and sugar in large bowl set aside 3. in your kitchenaide mixer with the dough hook on, mix yeast mixture and 1 1/4 cups water until well blended 4. add a cup of flour mixture at a time 5. knead about 5 minutes or until well blended 6. place dough in a bowl and rub olive oil on it 7. let rise 1 1/2 hours 8. punch dough and split into two balls 9. roll each ball out into a 9 x 13 flat 10. roll like a jelly roll and place on pan 11. or roll into balls of any size 12. grease dough and let rise 1 more hour or until double in size 13. bake at 375 for 1/2 hour 14. Crunchy outside and chewy inside 15. very good all around bread 16. Great cheese and wine bread |
