This is a very easy yet absolutely scrumptious and moist chocolate cake. The recipe was lost when my Mom died but was found years later in a church cookbook where she had put it. This will become your secret recipe for chocolate cake! Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups sugar |
6 tablespoons cocoa |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
3 cups flour |
3 teaspoons baking soda |
1 1/2 cups miracle whip |
1 1/2 cups water |
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla |
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in bowl and beat well with electric mixer.
2. Pour into a greased and floured 9x13 pan.
3. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
