A refreshing beverage served at the historic Chatwood Inn at Hillsborough, NC
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups water
mint leaf, handful
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 1/2 cups lemon juice
8 (28 ounce) bottles ginger ale
fresh mint sprig, for garnish
Directions:
1. Heat water & pour over mint leaves. Dissolve sugar in hot water. Steep 30 minutes to 2 hours. Strain out leaves. Add lemon juice & ginger ale when ready to serve. Pour over ice with a sprig of mint in each glass.
