Ingredients:
1/2 lb butter (no substitutes)
1 2/3 cups sugar
5 eggs, divided
2 cups cake flour
2 teaspoons vanilla
Directions:
1. Cream butter and sugar.
2. Drop in eggs one at a time, stirring after each.
3. Fold in flour and mix well.
4. Add vanilla.
5. Bake in 350 degree Fahrenheit oven for about 50 minutes.
