My grandmother was always the baker in our family and made these pecan pies for every special occasion!
Ingredients:
1 cup butter, melted
1 3/4 cups sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
3/4 cup white karo
5 eggs, beaten
2 -3 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups chopped pecans
2 unbaked pie shells
Directions:
1. Mix together all ingredients in a large bowl.
2. Pour evenly into 2 pie shells.
3. Bake at 300 degrees for 45-55 minutes.
