a little sunshine to a boring meatball. I thought that i would add something extra to my meatballs to get the kids to eat them and they love them. Now they ask for them all the time.
Ingredients:
1 kg mincemeat (i use lamb but beef is ok too)
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
2 eggs
2 (1 ounce) packets taco seasoning mix (i use mild for my family)
1 (475 g) jar spaghetti sauce (extra garlic sauce is yum)
500 g pasta
salt
pepper
Directions:
1. depending on how much seasoning you like i have mentioned 2 packets because we its quite a big recipe. 1 packet for the meatballs and 1 for the sauce. if u dont want to use so much then leave the taco seasoning out of the sauce.
2. put mince, egg, breadcrumbs, and 1 packet of taco seasoning into a bowl and combine well (that means getting ur fingers eewwy lol ).
3. roll them into balls and cook them all (you will need to do a few batches.
4. add spagetti sauce and and second packet of taco mix.
5. cook spagetti to your liking and then add the meatballs.
