Midori Glazed Almond Macaroons

Very pretty when piped out and when glazed tastes wonderful. I had this recipe since 1981
Ingredients:
1 cn almond paste (8 oz)
1 c granulated sugar
2 egg whites
midori icing ( melon liquer )
1 c powdered sugar
1/8 c midori
1 tb butter
Directions:
1. In a mixing bowl crumble almond paste.
2. Gradually add sugar.
3. Add 2 egg whites to almond paste mixture.
4. Beat until smooth (dough will be stiff).
5. Insert large star tube in pastry bag.
6. Fill with dough.
7. Using a slight swirling motion, squeeze dough onto well-greased cookie sheet.
8. Lift tube 1/4-inch from pan until dough breaks easily.
9. Or, drop dough from teaspoon on well-greased cookie sheet.
10. Bake at 350 F for 15-18 minutes.
11. Immediately remove from pan, cool on rack, and ice with Midori Icing.
12. Makes 3 dozen cookies.
13. Midori Icing: Mix icing ingredients together until spreadable.
