Microwaved Brussels Sprouts With Almonds

These are the best brussels sprouts I have ever had. I remember as a child disliking them, and have only tried them again recently. I really enjoy the baby brussel sprouts cooked this way- they are much sweeter than the larger brussels. You can steam the brussel sprouts if preferred
Ingredients:
500 g brussels sprouts
2 tablespoons sliced almonds
30 g butter
Directions:
1. Place butter and almonds in a microwave bowl, cook on HIGH 2 minutes. Stir after one minute.
2. Place trimmed sprouts in shallow dish with two teaspoons of water. Cover and cook on HIGH for 5 minutes or until tender, toss with almonds and butter.
