Microwave Steamed New Potatoes & Brussels Sprouts

Yet another Brussels Sprouts Recipe
Ingredients:
1/2 lb new potato
1/2 lb brussels sprout
1/2 cup chicken broth or 1/2 cup water
1 dash fresh ground pepper
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
Directions:
1. Combine potatoes, brussels sprouts and broth in 2 quart microwave safe casserole. Cover tightly with lid or plastic wrap turned back slightly on one side.
2. Microwave on high 4 minutes. Stir. Cover again. Microwave on high 3-6 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
3. Let them stand, covered, 5 minutes. To serve, sprinkle vegetables with pepper, parsley and chives.
