Mexican Vegetable Salad

I have made this salad many times.when going to a pot luck event it is one of my best request, next to my cakes. You can make it as mild or as spicy you want
Ingredients:
1 (15ounce) can red kidney beans drained
1 (12ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
1 (3 1/4 ounce) can pitted ripe olives, sliced
1/2 cup sliced green onions, including some green
1/4 cup diced green bell pepper, or you can use red or yellow or some of each.
1 tablespoon minced onion
dressing
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons chili sauce
2 teaspoond red wine vinegar
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
dash of dry mustard
hot pepper sauce to taste
pinch of sugar
2 tablespoons chopped green chilies
2 tablespoons chopped sweet pickle, or sweet relish
Directions:
1. DRESSING
2. Ina small bowl, blend mayonnaise, chili sauce, vinegar, chili powder, mustard, hot pepper sauce, and sugar.
3. Stir in green chilies and sweet pickle.
4. Set aside
5. SALAD
6. In a large bowl, gently toss kidney beans, corn, olives, green onions, green pepper, and onion.
7. Add dressing and toss to combine.
8. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until ready to serve.
9. Serve in a lettuce-lined bowl
