This looks very yummy. It's from Maman Dion. If you want it spicy, cause it doesn't look spicy at all, use the chili powder.
Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground veal
1/4 cup dry breadcrumbs
398 ml mushrooms, sliced and drained (i would try with fresh mushrooms)
1 celery root, finely chopped
1/4 cup green bell pepper, finely chopped
1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dry oregano
5 1/2 ounces tomato paste
1 teaspoon chili powder (optional)
1 cup instant rice, uncooked
1 cup water
5 1/2 ounces tomato paste
1 cup cheese, grated
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Bottom of pie: Mix all ingredients for the bottom all together and put in pie plate of 9 inches.
3. Filling: Mix all ingredients of the filling, except the cheese and put on the mixture of veal.
4. Bake 30 minutes. Add the cheese, and put back in the oven for 10 minutes.
