Mexican Fruitcake

This is not like a regular fruitcake, but it is still a delicious cake.
Ingredients:
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, undrained
2 cups plain flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans or 1 cup walnuts
2 cups powdered sugar
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1/2 cup melted margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Mix all of the cake ingredients together.
3. Pour into a 13x9-inch pan greased with margarine.
4. Bake for 35-45 minutes.
5. Blend all of the frosting ingredients until smooth.
6. Frost cake while hot.
