Mexican Casserole

This Casserole is so easy to make and taste good.
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion
2 tablespoons chili powder
salt
pepper (optional)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can rotel tomatoes
1 bag taco chips
1 can pinto beans
1 lb velveeta cheese
Directions:
1. Brown the beef, onion.
2. Add chili powder with salt and pepper in heavy skillet, mix mushroom soup, tomatoes and pinto beans in bowl.
3. Put crushed taco chips in crockpot first put the beef mixture in a layer and put the soup mixture over the beef mixture.
4. Put the cheese on top.
5. Repeat with second layer of each.
6. Bake in crockpot on high for 30 minutes then on low for 2 hours.
