My version of cranberry sauce. Everyone who has tasted it develops a love of the whole berries. It's really different. Don't skimp on the Triple Sec/Grand Marnier. I prefer Grand Marnier.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups orange marmalade
2/3 cup orange juice
4 cinnamon sticks, broken in half
1 12 oz bag of fresh cranberries
3/4 cup triple sec, grand marnier or other orange liquer (or add to taste)
sugar to taste
Directions:
1. Combine first three ingredients in medium saucepan. Stir over medium-high heat until mixture comes to a boil. Mix in cranberries, return to boil. Reduce heat to medium, simmer until berries burst and sauce thickens slightly, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes. Stir in Triple Sec. Taste and add Triple Sec and/or sugar to taste.
2. Cool completely. Cover and chill. Can be made three days ahead.
