This is a southern spin on an everyday vegetable. It's the ONLY way my husband will eat green beans!
Ingredients:
4 slices of bacon
1 can of greeen beans, drained (i use allen's)
2-4 tablespoons sugar (depends on your taste)
Directions:
1. Stack your 4 slices of bacon one on top of the other & cut them into 1/4 pieces.
2. Place them into medium sauce pan and fry until cooked and you have bacon grease in your pan. Don't let bacon get too crisp!
3. Place the drained can of green beans in with the bacon & add sugar.
4. Continue to stir until sugar/grease mixture is completely dissolved and green beans are well heated.
5. Serve & enjoy the sweet taste of the south!
