Mediterranean Steak Salad

Making this hearty salad on the weeknight is a cinch. Just marinate the steak in the morning and finish preparation after work.
Ingredients:

2/3 cup balsamic vinaigrette salad dressing
4 garlic cloves, pressed
1 1/2 tea dried oregano leaves
1/8 tea coarsely ground black pepper
1 beef flank steak 1 1/2 - 2 pounds)

1 can (14 oz) artichoke hearts in water, drained and cut into quarters
3 plum tomatoes, cut into wedges
1 cup cucumber slices, cut in half
1/2 small red onion, sliced into thin wedges
1/2 cup pitted rip olives, sliced
1 bag (10 oz) hearts of romaine lettuce, torn into pieces
1 pkg. (4oz) crumbled feta cheese
Directions:
1. For Mariande, combine dressing, garlic , oregano and black pepper in a small bowl.
2. Place steak and marinade in a plastic bag, turning to coat all sides.
3. marinate in refrigerator 6-8 hours or overnight.
4. Quarter artichoke hearts, and cut tomatoes into wedges, slice onions into thin wedges, slice the olives.
5. Remove steak from marinade, grill 17 to 21 mins. until steak is med-rare. Carve steak diagonally across the grain into thin slices.
6. Arrange lettuce on large serving platter, top with steak slices, artichokes, tomatoes, cucumber, onion and olives. Top with feta cheese. drizzle with dressing
7. Pita bread wedges goes well with this salad.
