Altered from a Martha Stewart recipe .
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup shredded carrot
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 egg
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon ketchup (in meatloaf)
salt and pepper
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
Directions:
1. In a bowl combine ground beef, carrots, onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, Ketchup, salt and pepper. Once thoroughly combined put into a loaf tin. Over the top of the meatloaf shake the tsp of Worcestershire and Ketchup to evenly coat. If you would like to top with a Tbsp of brown sugar to make it sweeter you may.
2. Cook at 375 degrees for about 30 minutes or until center is cooked through.
3. Serve with vegetables and mashed potatoes if you wish.
