Meat Sauce with Mushrooms

Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef, 80
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 red onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
8 oz mushrooms sliced
14 oz tomatoes, canned
24 1/2 oz marinara, ready-to-serve
Directions:
1. In a large non-stick skillet, brown the ground beef. Drain.
2. Add olive oil to skillet and heat, add onions and garlic and cook for 3-5 minutes until transparent and softened.
3. Add mushroom and cook 2 minutes more.
4. Add canned tomatoes and marinara to veggies, then add drained beef.
5. Stir and bring to a boil. Lower heat, cover and simmer 20 minutes.
6. Serve at once over pasta with grated cheese, or divide and freeze for later use.
