Nothing healthier for you than whole fruits and vegetables. Forget buying hyped, expensive shakes . Get a good blender, some fresh organic fruits and vegetables, and enjoy! This one is light and bright tasting. Probably one of my favorites so far.
Ingredients:
1 large carrot
1 stalk celery
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 large banana
1 medium grapefruit
1 1/2 cups spinach leaves
1/2 cup kale leaf
5 ice cubes
1/2 cup almond milk
Directions:
1. Add ice, frozen bananas, celery, and carrots to the blender (I use a 48 year old Vitamix) first, then add the rest.
2. Use the tamper to tamp down.
3. Makes 1 big serving or two small.
