When I was little, every Passover the girl next door (and others, too) would bring us Matzoh and I loved them. The problem is I loved them too much and still do. I spread butter all over the board, then sprinkle it with salt, and then spread grape jelly (it has got to be grape jelly) all over it. It is to die for. I can eat a couple of them at a sitting. It is a comfort food to me. Now the grocery stores have matzoh all year long and I buy them. My kids and grandkids love them, too. I don't think that my friend next door knows that she started something when she first brought us some matzoh. The amounts below are approximate.
Ingredients:
1 sheet matzohs, board (unsalted regular one)
2 tablespoons soft butter
1 dash salt
2 tablespoons grape jelly
Directions:
1. Spread the soft butter on the matzoh.
2. Sprinkle salt over that.
3. Spread with grape jelly.
4. EAT THE WHOLE THING!
