Matty's Healthy Blueberry Muffins

My grandson, Matthew, brought this recipe home and wanted me to make them. He had them in class and said they were soooo good! He got the recipe from his third grade classmate's mom. We will be trying them today.
Ingredients:
2 eggs
1/2 cup butter (melted) or 1/2 cup margarine (melted)
1 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1 cup milk
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups blueberries
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
Directions:
1. preheat oven to 350.
2. grease muffin tins.
3. mix in a large bowl; eggs, butter, sugar, almond extract, then add milk and stir.
4. sift and mix in another bowl; wheat flour, flour, baking powder, salt.
5. mix the dry sifted ingredients into the large bowl with egg mixture until just combined, do not beat or whip.
6. gently fold in blueberries and sunflower seeds.
7. fill greased tins 3/4 full.
8. bake 350 for 20-25 minutes.
