Mashed Potato Balls

This is a fun thing to do with mashed potatoes. Beats building a mountain out of them.
Ingredients:
left over mashed potatoes
minced garlic or garlic powder (optional)
6 -10 ounces shredded shard cheddar cheese
1 egg, beat
2 cups crushed corn flakes
Directions:
1. Preheat large skillet with enough oil to half cover balls.
2. Add garlic and cheese to potatoes.
3. Roll into balls about 2 around.
4. Dip balls into egg.
5. Roll into cornflakes.
6. Place in hot oil, fry until brown.
7. Carefully turn balls.
8. Brown.
9. Serve hot.
