Mashed Caramel Pecan Sweet Potatoes - Sugar Free

I have not tried this recipe. I got this recipe from Bariatric Eating. 1/2 cup is a serving.
Ingredients:
4 -6 large sweet potatoes (about 4 pounds)
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 cup davinci sugar-free caramel syrup or 1/2 cup english toffee syrup
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
whole pecans or chopped pecans
Directions:
1. Cook potatoes in lightly salted boiling water 25 to 35 minutes, until fork tender.
2. Drain and when cool enough to handle, peel and mash the potatoes.
3. Add DaVinci syrup, butter, and cinnamon; beat until fluffy and smooth.
4. May be prepared in advance to this stage.
5. Spoon mixture into buttered 3-quart baking dish and arrange pecans on top.
6. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
