ground beef and pasta casserolle
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
2 green peppers, chopped
14 ounce tomato sauce
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp basil
1 clove garlic, minced
1 salt and pepper
1 pound egg noodles
4 slices american cheese
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef with chopped onion, chopped green pepper, minced garlic and spices. Once browned, drain and add tomato sauce (should be well-mixed but not sloppy). Layer in casserolle dish (I think I use a 1.5 quart dish) with cooked macaroni - meat, macaroni, meat, macaroni, meat. Top with American cheese and bake at 325 degrees until cheese is melted.
