Maryland Crab Cakes

These are so good. Packed full of flavor. Always a hit when I serve these delights. Enjoy
Ingredients:
6 ounces jumbo lump crab meat
1 slice white bread diced with crust removed
1/4 teaspoon shallots finely diced
1/4 teaspoon chive finely diced
1 whole egg
1 teaspoon mayonnaise
1/4 teaspoon dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons butter
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375.
2. In a bowl whisk one egg then gently fold in all ingredients except butter until well combined.
3. Shape into patties.
4. In a hot sauté pan add 2 tablespoons butter then lightly brown crab cakes on both sides.
5. Remove from sauté pan.
6. Bake for 8 minutes.
