I kinda made this one up from a bunch of other recipes...it's turned out pretty well. Very easy to make!
Ingredients:
1 lb hamburger
1 cup onion, diced
1 garlic clove, minced
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/4 cup mustard
6 ounces beer (not light)
2 tablespoons butter
catsup, as necessary
Directions:
1. Cook onions and garlic in butter until soft. Brown hamburger until not pink, drain. Combine hamburger and onion mixture, add the rest of the ingredients, simmer for an hour or so, stirring every 5minutes, or so - add catsup as necessary. After simmering, add your hotdogs and let simmer for another 10 minutes or so. Steam your buns in a gallon Ziploc with a couple tablespoons of water, spinkled in by flicking fingers into Ziploc, put in microwave, on Defrost setting, until hot - put a dog in a bun, top with Coney Sauce, add mustard and diced onions to taste - Enjoy!
