Marshmallow Frosting

This is the frosting I use for the the white cake with lemon curd filling, I sprinkle the sweetened coconut on top
Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons water
2 egg whites
1 (7 ounce) jar marshmallow creme
1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions:
1. In top of double boiler, combine sugar, water, and egg whites. Cook over simmering water, beating until soft peaks form.
2. Add marshmallow creme; beat until stiff peaks form. Remove from heat; beat in vanilla.
