A zesty salad that is a good item for showers, parties, etc. The longer it sits in refrigerator, the better.
Ingredients:
1 head cauliflower
1 bunch broccoli
1 stalk celery
1 bell pepper
1 bag baby carrots
1 small onion (in rings) (optional)
3/4 cup canola oil
3/4 cup vinegar
1 dash garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon dry mustard
2 teaspoons poppy seeds (optional)
1/2 cup sugar
yellow squash or zucchini
fresh mushrooms
cucumber
Directions:
1. Break or cut vegetables into bite-sized pieces.
2. Mix in a large bowl.
3. Dressing: Mix and pour over vegetables.
4. Let stand overnight.
5. will keep two weeks in refrigerator.
