Marinated Vegetable Salad

This side dish goes great with my creamed chicken over cornbread.
Ingredients:
1/2 c oil
1/3 c cider vinegar
1/4 c sugar1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 c frozen lima beans, cooked
1 c small green peas
1 c shoe peg corn
1/2 c chopped onion
1/2 c chopped green bell pepper
1/2 c chopped celery
Directions:
1. Combine oil, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper in saucepan.
2. Bring to a boil.
3. Cool to room temperature.
4. Combine beans, peas, corn, onion green pepper and celery in large bowl.
5. Add dressing, toss to coat well.
6. Chill until serving time.
7. May store in refrigerator for several weeks.
