Marinated Summer Slaw

This sounds tasty but I haven't tried it yet. It's supposed to marinate overnight. From an old church cookbook.
Ingredients:
12 ounces whole kernel white corn, drained
17 ounces baby peas, drained
16 ounces french style green beans, drained
4 ounces pimentos, diced and drained
1 cup green bell pepper, diced
1 cup celery, finely chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
3/4 cup vinegar
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
Directions:
1. Bring marinade ingredients to a boil while stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and let cool.
2. Mix all slaw ingredients together in a large bowl. Pour cooled marinade over the slaw. Refrigerate overnight.
