Maple Walnut Tart

Maple syrup is one of my favored flavors…Try it also with pecans and raisins…
Ingredients:
crust
1 24cm chocolate sable crust, baked.
filling
4 large eggs
3/4 cup real maple syrup
1/4 cup honey or light corn syrup
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups chopped walnuts (or however much it takes to fill the crust)
Directions:
1. Fill the baked pie crust with walnuts and set aside.
2. Beat the eggs until frothy, add the maple syrup, honey, lemon juice, vanilla and salt and beat again until completely combined. Pour the liquid mixture over the chopped walnuts and bake for 30-35 minutes in a 375F preheated oven until set. . Do not under bake or filling will be runny. Cool for at least 30 minutes before serving. Dust with powder sugar.
