Maple Syrup Tarts

These are so sweet and buttery and good and easy.
Ingredients:
1/3 cup butter
1/3 cup cornstarch
1 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup chopped toasted pecans or 1/2 cup walnuts (optional)
12 medium prepared tart shells, baked
Directions:
1. Melt butter over low heat and blend in ornstarch, then syrup and milk.
2. Bring to a boil.
3. Stir and cook until thick.
4. Continue cooking 2 or 3 minutes more, stirring frequently.
5. Remove from heat, and let cool 15 minutes.
6. Spoon into baked shells.
