A springtime treat after the sap run. You may even want to pour a bit of warmed syrup over these muffins and eat with a spoon. Ingredients:
1 egg |
1/2 cup maple syrup |
2 cups flour |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup milk |
1/4 cup butter |
4 teaspoons baking powder |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400F degrees. 2. Beat eggs until light. 3. Mix in wet ingredients. 4. Sift and add dry ingredients to wet. 5. Pour into greased muffin tins. 6. Bake 20 minutes. |
