Maple Pecan Biscuits

These are wonderful glazed biscuits with just a hint of maple flavor.
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup shortening
1/3 cup chopped pecans
1 cup milk
2 teaspoons maple flavoring
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 -3 teaspoons milk
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
2. Grease a cookie sheet with cooking spray.
3. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a bowl.
4. Cut in shortening until the mixture is like fine crumbs.
5. Add the pecans.
6. Combine the milk and maple flavor in another bowl; mix well.
7. Add to the flour mixture; stir just until moistened.
8. Drop the dough by spoonfuls on the cookie sheet.
9. Bake 10-12 minutes or until the biscuits are light golden brown.
10. Remove to a wire rack placed over wax paper.
11. Combine all glaze ingredients and drizzle over the biscuits.
