Maple Nut Sticky Buns

Now you are talking about good and sticky and very tasty. Make these quiet often we love the taste yummy. Hope that you enjoy these like we do.
Ingredients:
1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 pkg. quick-rising active dry yeast
1 tsp. salt
1 cup warm water
6 tbsp. softened butter divided
1 egg, room temperature
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar, divided
1 tsp. sugar
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375*F.
2. Grease a 13x9 baking pan and spread walnuts and maple syrup over the bottom.
3. Combine 2 cups flour, granulated sugar, yeast and salt in a large bowl.
4. Stir in water, 2 Tbsp. butter and egg.
5. Beat until smooth, gradually stir in remaining flour until soft dough forms.
6. Cover with plastic wrap, let rise until doubled, about 30 minutes.
7. On lightly floured surface, roll dough to 15x12 rectangle.
8. Spread with remaining butter.
9. Mix brown sugar with cinnamon.
10. Sprinkle over surface.
11. Starting with a 12 side, roll up tightly.
12. Cut into 12 slices, palce cut side down in the prepared pan.
13. Cover with plastic wrap, place on a wire rack over a large pan of hot water.
14. Let rise until buns double, for 45 minuets.
15. Uncover buns and bake until golden brown.
16. Cool for 1 minute.
17. Loosen edges, invert onto a serving plate.
18. Serve warm
