I am looking for tasty Ideas for snacks or brunches. I came across this using Bisquick and most of us will have these ingredients in the pantry. To keep from having soggy muffins take them out of the pan after removing them from the oven.
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon bisquick baking mix
1 teaspoon soft butter or 1 teaspoon margarine
2 cups bisquick baking mix
1/2 cup raisins
1/3 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup brown sugar
2/3 cup milk
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon maple extract
1 egg
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 400°F.
2. Grease bottoms of 12 muffin cups with spray or shortening or you can use paper baking cups.
3. In a small bowl mix the topping ingredients and set aside.
4. In a large bowl stir the muffin ingredients until just moistened.
5. Spoon evenly in muffin pans
6. Sprinke with topping.
7. Bake 15-18 minute or until golden brown.
8. Cool slightly and remove from pan to cooling rack.
9. Serve warm.
