Maple and Cracked Black Pepper Dip

Ingredients:
200 ml maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon black peppercorns
4 cm cinnamon sticks
1/2 orange, zest of
Directions:
1. Place the syrup in a pan with the orange and cinnamon.
2. Crush the peppercorns in a pestle and mortar and add to the pan.
3. Heat gently for 10 minutes.
4. Leave to cool.
