Manna Hawaiian Macaroni Salad

I had some macaroni salad from Manna's Korean BBQ in Kona last week, and it was DIVINE. And I don't usually like macaroni salad. This is my attempt to recreate it. I don't have any idea if it is the same, but it is also totally delicious.
Ingredients:
1 lb salad macaroni
3 scallions, chopped finely
2 carrots, grated coarsely
2/3 cup cheddar cheese, grated
1/8 cup honey
1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/8 teaspoon powdered ginger
1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
Directions:
1. Cook noodles, then drain and rinse in cold water, and drain again.
2. Add remaining ingredients, mix thoroughly.
3. Chill for 1 hour.
