Mango Nut Sauce (Ice Cream Topping, Pancake or Crepe)

Nice mango sauce. Original recipe said it was just an ice cream topping...however I can imagine this on pancakes, waffles, crepes, cakes etc.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 quarts mangoes, chunks
3 1/2 cups sugar
1 quart roasted pecan (peanuts, walnuts, macadamia or whatever)
1/4 cup water
Directions:
1. Bring mangos, sugar and water to a boil in heavy pan. Simmer for 10-15 minutes until thickened and has smooth consistency, stirring frequently.
2. Add nuts and cool.
3. Serve over ice cream or over anything you want.
