Mango Ginger Sorbet  ( Ice Cream Maker )

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 lime , juice of
  • 3/4 tsp fresh grated gingerroot

Directions:

  1. Dissolve the sugar in the water.
  2. Stir in the mango puree, lime juice, and ginger.
  3. Pour into ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  4. Scrape into a container, seal tightly and let firm up in the freezer for about 3 hours before serving.
