Boneless chicken grilled with a luscious mandarin orange sauce drizzled over it. My sister got this recipe for me from my aunt. For best results, use frozen orange juice. (Minutemaid is used for the original recipe). It tastes much better than regular orange juice.
Ingredients:
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 (8 ounce) cans mandarin oranges
1/3 cup orange, juice- frozen concentrate
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon cornstarch
Directions:
1. Bake boneless skinless chicken breasts for about 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
2. In skillet: Melt orange juice, add brown sugar and nutmeg. Wisk down- add corn starch and a little water. Add mandarin oranges last. Heat up and let it sit to thicken. Pour over chicken.
