Mama's Rhubarb Crunch

Easy to make desert finished in about an hour. My mama made this for us when we were growing up and served it a la mode. Fresh rhubarb is the best if available, frozen is o.k. but you will have to up the cooking time to 60 minutes.
Ingredients:
6 cups rhubarb, diced
1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons flour
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup old fashioned oats
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup shortening
Directions:
1. Combine first three ingredients and place in 9x9 baking dish.
2. Combine remaining ingredients and sprinkle evenly over top of filling.
3. Bake 40 minutes at 375° - serve warm.
