Mama's Fried Okra (Curtis Aikens2)

Ingredients:
2 pounds okra
1/2 cup self-rising cornmeal
2 tablespoons self-rising flour
1 1/2 cups oil
dash of salt and pepper
Directions:
1. Wash and cut okra into 1/4-inch pieces. Mix cornmeal, flour and seasoning. Add okra. Pour oil into a deep frying pan and heat to about 400 degrees F. Fry until golden.
