This is good to make when you have company coming and you want to make something ahead of time... This is usually a crowd pleaser.. Ingredients:
1 pound any type of bulk sausage |
2 slices bread, cubed into 1/2 inch cubes |
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese |
6 eggs |
2 cups milk |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard |
Directions:
1. Brown sausage in a medium skillet over medium heat; cook until brown; drain 2. Spread bread cubes into a buttered 12 x 8 x 1 inch baking dish. 3. Top with sausage and cheese. 4. Combine eggs, milk, and seasonings; beat well. 5. Pour over cheese. 6. Cover and refridgerate over night. 7. Bale at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes or until set. 8. Cut in squares and serve. |
