Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rice
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 1 tsp salt

Directions:

  1. Put everything in a pot
  2. Bring to a boil
  3. Semi-cover pot and cook on low flame until all the water boils off, (~20 minutes)
  4. Remove from heat, cover pot & let stand for 5 minutes
  5. Serving suggestion:
  6. Top with fried onions
