A snack that is very common here in Gib
Ingredients:
2 lbs mackerel, deboned, and filleted
2 garlic cloves, pounded
1 tablespoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1 pinch marjoram
salt and pepper
2 tablespoons vinegar
water
flour or beaten eggs or breadcrumbs
Directions:
1. place the fish in all the other ingredients and leave to soak overnight.
2. Remove fish and let it dry off for about 1 hour.
3. roll fish in either flour, beaten egg or breadcrumbs and fry.
