Macadamia Nut Brownies

My husband I were feeling creative and really liked how these came out. They're very rich and very tastey.
Ingredients:
1 cup sweet unsalted butter
6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup macadamia nuts, baking pieces or 1 cup crushed macadamia nuts
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour a 9x7 pan.
2. In a small bowl combine flour, salt and baking soda, set aside.
3. On a low heat setting melt butter completely, then add cocoa. When combined and has a smooth texture remove from heat.
4. In a large bowl combine sugar, eggs and vanilla, then add the cocoa and butter mixture. Mix until smooth.
5. Sift the flour, salt and baking soda slowly into the batter, beat until smooth.
6. Add Macadamia nuts if desired.
7. Pour into pan and bake immediately.
8. Bake for 40-50 minutes or until a toothpick stuck in the center comes out clean.
