Lucille's Cranberry Salad

Ingredients:
4 cup(s) whole fresh cranberries
2 navel oranges (with rind) quartered
2 cup(s) sugar
1 cup(s) diced celery
1 cup(s) chopped nuts (optiional)
2 box(es) orange jello ( 3 oz each)
1 1/2 cup(s) very hot water
Directions:
1. Rinse cranberries and pick out any bad ones.
2. Using a food processor, finely chop the cranberries and place in a medium bowl.
3. Place the quartered oranges, with rind, into the processor and finely chop.
4. Place the choped oranges and any resulting juice in with the cranberries.
5. Add 2 cups sugar to the cranberry-orange mix. Stir until well combined.
6. Allow this to sit overnight, covered, in the refrigerator.
7. In a separate bowl, add 1 1/2 cups very hot water to the 2 boxes of orange jello.
8. Stir until jello is dissolved.
9. Add the diced celery and optional nuts to the cranberry-orange-sugar mixture then add the dissolved jello and mix well.
10. Pour into a serving bowl (ex: 2.8 oval corning ware), cover and refrigerate until set. approximately 8 hours or longer.
