Ingredients:
2 1/2 cup(s) milk
1 1/2 cup(s) sugar
1/4 cup(s) cocoa
1 tablespoon(s) butter
7 tablespoon(s) cornstarch
6 tablespoon(s) water
3 whole(s) extra large egg yolks
1 cup(s) mini marshmallows
1 baked 9 pastry pie shell
sweetened whipped cream
chocolate curls or shavings
Directions:
1. In medium saucepan, combine 2-cups milk, sugar, cocoa and butter.
2. Bring just to a boil over medium heat.
3. In a medium bowl, mix cornstarch and water until cornstarch is
4. completely dissolved
5. Stir in remaining 1/2 cup milk. Whisk in egg yolks and vanilla until well
6. blended.
7. Gradually add to mixture in saucepan, stirring continuously with wire
8. whisk, cook, stirring constantly about 2 minutes or until mixture is
9. thickened and smooth.
10. Add marshmallows and stir until melted and mixture is smooth.
11. Pour into pie shell, press plastic wrap directly onto filling.
12. Refrigerate at least 2 hours. Remove plastic wrap and top with
13. whipped cream and garnish with chocolate curls.
