This is a MUCH lower fat and calorie version of Magic Chocolate Mug Cake (Microwave). I streamlined it by using self-rising flour, and applesauce instead of the oil and egg. For the applesauce, I usually have the 4 ounce cups around for school lunches, so I just throw in one of those instead of measuring it out. I love adding a little sugar or fat free pudding on top. Be aware, just like the original, this is not a spongy cake. It's. thicker. But if you go in knowing that, you can appreciate it for what it is.
Ingredients:
4 tablespoons self rising flour
4 tablespoons splenda granular
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
3 tablespoons skim milk
4 ounces unsweetened applesauce
2 -3 drops vanilla (optional)
Directions:
1. Coat a large mug with cooking spray. Add all ingredients and stir. Microwave for 2.5 - 3 minutes.
